    Information Support of High Schools in Corporate Library Network

    The paper includes information about some results of research on information library network of more than sixty Uzbekistan universities to provide them with scientific and educational information. It is being known there can be a great number of models of their realization and also their efficiency differs. Therefore, it is very important to find effective models of decision-making in information library network (ILN). At present time Cloud technologies have started to be developed actively both in corporate networks, and in global information environments. Use Cloud Computing in information-library networks can essentially raise efficiency as of user service, and of network administration. The experiments done in corporate network of academic libraries of Uzbekistan using ARMAT system have shown advantages of its applications

    ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF DISTANCE EDUCATION. LESSONS FROM THE COVID19 PANDEMIC

    The COVID19 pandemic has made changes not only in the health care, in our personal lives, but also in the education system especially. The purpose of the research is based on the analysis of the experience of universities of different countries, as well as a survey of teachers of Uzbekistan universities, that held classes during the quarantine, to identify the advantages and disadvantages of Distance Education(DE), as well as give recommendations for making decisions on development DE during the pandemic. To identify the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning during the COVID19 pandemic, an online survey was conducted among 126 university teachers. Respondents were asked to indicate the most important aspects of the advantages and problems of DE that they encountered during this period. Respondents indicated priorities - factors that had the greatest positive and negative impact on the learning process during the COVID19 pandemic. Analysis of this "short-term" period shows that DE has its pros and cons: Advantages: Saving time and money; Reducing the risk of getting sick; Development of DE technologies; Activating teachers to prepare e-courses; Equality of students to get knowledge. Disadvantages: Lack of direct contact with students; Complexity of individual work and in groups; "Presence Effect" of students; Activity of unscrupulous teachers; Complexity of knowledge assessment; Technological inequality among students; Decrease in the activity of scientific research.

    RESEARCH OF NEEDS IN DIGITAL SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES IN UNIVERSITIES

    Currently, without the effective information support of scientific research and the educational process, the innovative development of higher education isn’t possible. But the databases of leading publishers such as Springer Nature, Wiley, Elsevier, Oxford University Press and others are very expensive for universities in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. It is necessary to conduct researches to analyze the demand for digital information resources of publishers to determine the most popular sources for each university. The article is devoted to the results of research on the demand for electronic scientific and educational resources in 63 universities of Uzbekistan, as well as their impact on publication activity. Interviewed more than 1200 respondents from among doctoral students, applicants for academic degrees, teachers and researchers. Based on the results of the survey, the most frequently used sources of information for scientific research, problems they face when writing scientific articles, and information resources they often use are identified. Such researches were conducted in the republic for the first time. The results of the survey made it possible to get a clear picture of the state of information support of universities, to develop recommendations to improve of acquisition funds of academic libraries, on organizing and conducting thematic trainings for doctoral students, teachers, and researchers.

    MODELS OF INTEGRATION OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

    At present a lot of automated systems are developing and implementing to support the educational and research processes in the universities. Often these systems duplicate some functions, databases, and also there are problems of compatibility of these systems. The most common educational systems are systems for creating electronic libraries, access to scientific and educational information, a program for detecting plagiarism, testing knowledge, etc. In this article, models and solutions for the integration of such educational automated systems as the information library system (ILS) and the anti-plagiarism system are examined. Integration of systems is based on the compatibility of databases, if more precisely in the metadata of different information models. At the same time, Cloud technologies are used - data processing technology, in which computer resources are provided to the user of the integrated system as an online service. ILS creates e-library of graduation papers and dissertations on the main server. During the creation of the electronic catalog, the communication format MARC21 is used. The database development is distributed for each department. The subsystem of anti-plagiarism analyzes the full-text database for the similarity of texts (dissertations, diploma works and others). Also it identifies the percentage of coincidence, creates the table of statistical information on the coincidence of tests for each author and division, indicating similar fields. The integrated system was developed and tested at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies to work in the corporate mode of various departments (faculties, departments, TUIT branches)

    At present, information and knowledge in the field of science and education are strategic resources. From their formation, renewal, distribution depends not only the scientific and educational spheres, but also the socio-economic development of the country. Therefore, the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of databases of a scientific and educational nature are an important subject of research. The purpose of this article is to conduct an analysis of methods, criteria for assessing units of scientific information in terms of ensuring information security. Classification of criteria for the evaluation of scientific and educational information (SEI), their systematization, analysis of problem of ensuring the security of information resources are given. Also, the information infrastructure development indicators and projects implemented in the field of information security are outlined. Evaluation of SEI units is carried out by experts who themselves have a weighting factor and are dependent on their qualifications. The results of the research are the basis for the creation of an automated system for ensuring information security in the corporate library system of academic libraries. The corporate network forms an electronic public library, distributes the SEI between resource users. The information security system will ensure the regulation of access to resources

    It is known that today information and library systems are one of the main sources of information needs of the population and have many users. Information and library systems have a large amount of valuable information resources and information retrieval services have been established to allow users to find the necessary literature. We know that search engines take requests and return results they think are relevant. As a result, the user again faces the problem of finding what he needs among the many sources of information provided.Today, a number of information systems effectively use recommendation systems based on artificial intelligence to recommend objects. In information and library systems, high efficiency can be achieved by identifying the information needs of users and recommending relevant literature.To do this, it is necessary to determine the information needs of library users by analyzing information about their age, interests, level of knowledge in a particular area, previous requests, professions, etc. By introducing recommender systems into library information systems, it is possible to facilitate the work of librarians, increase speed and accuracy finding the necessary source of information, increase the efficiency of management and the level of satisfaction of the information needs of the population.The article proposes a fuzzy model for solving the problem of assessing the needs of users of information and library systems and recommending relevant literature to them.

    FORMATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE BASE OF DIGITAL LIBRARIES BASED ON SEMANTIC MODELS OF AUTHORITY FILES

    This article is devoted to the analysis of methods for creating a knowledge base of a digital library based on the semantic model of authority files. The article also describes the practical aspects of creating an electronic library legal encyclopedia based on the semantic model of authority files. Creation of a semantic network of authority files significantly optimizes the quality and speed of searching for resources in electronic libraries and creates the basis for intellectualization of information retrieval. The article examines in detail the existing approaches to creating a knowledge base of authority files, including files based on semantic models, and forming a knowledge base structure. The main purpose of the study is to create an improved model and develop software for creating a knowledge base of an electronic library of semantic authority files for various subject areas. In the article the theoretical research methods (method of comparison and critical thinking) and empirical research methods (data collection and document analysis) have been applied. Used object-oriented programming, intelligent information retrieval, reverse indexing capabilities. The field of jurisprudence was chosen for the application and approbation of the created model and software. A knowledge base has been created that studies frequently used specialized terms and semantic relationships between them

    FUNCTIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE ADVISING EXPERT SYSTEM DEFECT-CAUSE-ACTION

    To solve some technological tasks, developers face a number of problems of formalization, modeling and management of production processes. Especially often difficulties arise when solving problems of detecting and eliminating defects. This is due to the fact that the same defects can appear for different reasons or for a set of reasons; one reason can lead to defects of different types; different values of the cause indicators can cause different defects; the complex of various causes that caused the appearance of certain defects can be eliminated by many combinations of actions taken in this case; the reasons for the appearance of defects can be so many that traditional deterministic modeling methods may be useless; in practice, the experience of a specialist who has worked for many years on the equipment of these technological processes can be very important and effective than complex software and technical complexes for automating the production of some product. The article considers the proposed method for detecting the causes of various manufacturing defects based on the use of fuzzy logic. The developed model and algorithms are implemented as part of a fuzzy expert system. The functional structure of the system with the description of subsystems is given.
